Break
This break consisted of movies, hanging out with friends, sleeping (a lot) and overall just relaxation and holiday festivities! Britt celebrated in Florida while me and Ang stayed home (something i am very jealous about) but we all got together for some crepes and waffles at a cute cafe in cherry hill to exchange presents and get some good quality co editor best friend time! I loved hanging out with the girls even though seeing them once over the break was not nearly enough time and am so thankful to be working with two of my best friends! I mean what other section gives each other presents?! NONE (obviously photo is the best) It is now a new year. We are officially in 2013 and i am so excited to have spent 2012 with my wonderful editors and to be spending 2013 with them as we enter the journalism room once again tomorrow with the restarting of school!

WEEKEND
hey y'all so it was a pretty busy weekend for us......First Angie and I started the weekend out right by having a sleepover! We had some quality Angie squared time which consisted of brownies......(yes both pot and regular) and some James Franco, specifically 127 hours which is a great movie and if you have not seen it, I highly recommend it, pretty much a hot guy saws his arm off! We woke up to the sound of my alarm telling us we had to get up to got to LAYOUT DAY at 8:30..... I dont do going to school on a saturday at 8:30 so the snooze button was pushed and we continued in our slumber til about 10...... We eventually made it to school where we sat and did a considerable amount of nothing all day because as the best photo editors on the planet we always have our work done! Ang watched tv, Britt did schoolwork and I actually dont know exzactly what I did but i know i talked a lot and attempted to read a book! We also took a much needed Starbucks run for some chai tea lattes, Iced coffees and my seasonal favorite the peppermint mocha latte. By the time we came back there was chinese food waiting for us so that was kinda nice. All in all besides the minor boredom, it was a sucsessful, relaxing and enjoyable layout day! We did continue our tradition of Post Layout Day Pho (vietnese food) later that night where i got to enjoy a very delicious pad thai meal. (not vietnese food) Two of our other newspaper editors Zoe (art director) and Rachel (humor editor) joined us and it was nice to share the day with our Eastside girls. So summing up the weekend James Franco, Journalism room couch, Viet Food. Not bad if you ask me!

17 THINGS IM THANKFUL FOR
hello all so in the spirit of thanksgiving which is my favorite holiday i wanted to write a blog post about the things i am thankful for in my life i am 17 years old so that is the reason i will give 17 even though there are so many more things i am truly blessed to have..... I hope you all have an amazing thanksgiving filled with love and turkey.
1. I am thankful for God and everything he has given me.
2. I am thankful for my amazing friends and family who I truly believe are the best in the world
3. I am thankful that when there was a hurricane outside last month I was inside safe and sound with a roof over my head and even though that sounds simple I have been to third world countries and having shelter means more than you could imagine
4. I am thankful for my future and even though I dont know what exactly it will hold I can see it and at least I know that it is bright. That is more than enough for now.
5. I am thankful that I have never once been in a desperate need for something that I have always had more than enough.
6. I am thankful for the people I have met and gotten to know and I am thankful for having the ability to love people in general and to be loved by people.
7. I am thankful for the opportunities I have been given. I am thankful for the miricals that have made those opportunities happen. (I am thankful that I was given the opportunity to be on the eastside newspaper board. )
8. I am thankful that I have found my passion photography and that it is something i absolutley love. I am thankful that I get the chance to learn more about it each day and make art.
9. I am thankful to not be scared to try new things, to make a fool of myself, to get involved, and to care too much. My personality is something I will never regret about myself.
10. I am thankful for this beautiful life I have been given and everything in it and to be able to make the most of it while I am here.
11. I am thankful for being able to travel and see how the rest of the world lives
12. I am thankful that I can give my life to helping people and our community and our planet and making an impact no matter how small.
13. I am thankful for the little things like movies and music and books, the things that make life more fun
14. I am thankful for waffles with strawberrys and nutella.
15. I am thankful that I never feel alone. That i have people in my life who love me unconditionally

Sry
for the lack of updates (if there is someone out there who reads this).
There is absolutely no time, especially with the busy schedules me, Angela and Angie have. Anyway, I can't believe next week is December (Dec. 1st is layout day holllla). So let me try to remember what happened in the past month:
Spirit Week was this week, which made everything so much harder because me and Angela were at school till 8 or later every day. I regret not doing spirit week the past 3 years. But seniors won almost every event (except tug-o-war), which was so incredible. If you know the CHE's Class of '13, generally, we do not get along with one another or work well together. But somehow we pulled it all together, and it brought us closer. LOVE MY CLASS of '13

Also, shoutout to Mr. Gagliardi who is the Freshmen advisor for the Class of '16. Freshmen did so well this year, and beat the sophomores. And Gagz showed off his mad dance skillz during the Freshmen dance.
Sidebar-- we created an Eastside instagram! The picture above is from the instagram. Follow @cheeastsidephoto! http://instagram.com/cheeastsidephoto
Furthermore, during Journalism last week, Gagz was going over website statistics, and A2B gave the website 7 hits. I thought it was hilarious, but THANK YOU. Much appreciated... Keep checking the Eastside website you guys!
There is definitely more that happened the past month, but I don't remember nor do I feel like talking about it. So goodbye
-Burt
P.S. A2B video/radio show in the works... I think... idk
